PhD Candidate, BEE
Alexander joined the Ma Lab in the fall of 2017 a few months after graduating with a bachelor's degree from Cornell in BEE. He enjoys playing pick-up basketball, swimming in Ithaca’s gorges (when the sun’s out!), and producing music recreationally. He became interested in bioengineering in high school after learning about the vibrant, biological, microscopic world in his first biology course.
He is primarily interested in modeling and designing living, biohybrid therapeutic devices, with a particular focus on treating type I diabetes.
