Students find calm, comfort at Ag Quad 'farm'

During Ag Day, a biannual event hosted by the Cornell chapter of the co-ed fraternity Alpha Zeta, the Ag Quad was transformed into a farm with animals and tractor activities to expose students to farming. Read more

Cornell No. 15 in U.S. News ranking; Dyson, Eng in top 10

In the 2016 U.S. News and World Report rankings released today, Cornell University was ranked No. 15 among top national schools. The Dyson School and the College of Engineering both ranked in the top 10, respectively.  BEE's Biological Engineering degree was ranked 8th, and BEE/CEE's Environmental Engineering degree was ranked 10th. 2015 Atkinson Center Academic Venture Fund Awards

The 2015 ACSF Academic Venture Fund Awards have been announced.  BEE awardees include Profs. Tammo Steenhuis, Ludmilla Aristilde, and Senior Associate Brian Richards as part of a collaboration on Reassessing Roundup,  and Prof. Peter Hess in a collaboration on Cornell Climate Plan Reflections. Reunion 2015

Thank you to our alumni who attended Reunion 2015!  We had a great group and a busy weekend.  Professor Beth Ahner is shown here giving a tour of Riley Robb Hall.  Professor Ludmilla Aristilde participated as a panelist at the Liberty Hyde Bailey Lecture: Any Challenge, Any Century. "The next 150 years will present challenges to our planet and its people, from adapting to climate change to the pressures of population growth and common chronic illnesses. Researchers in CALS and Cornell are doing their part to prepare communities for long-range sustainability and resilience in the face of change." Read more
